State of Emergency…
Good album..
Really good album..
Better than anything of theirs other than their self-titled.. ( not hard though ).
I’ll try to put it in a frame of reference most of you will understand…
Better than Audioslave’s newest.
Better than Birds of Pray.
Better than …
Better than lots of stuff..
We want More, Wake Up, Reborn are standout songs in my opinion.

Since upgrading my Wordpress to 2.0.whatever I’ve found some very useful tools and some very, very annoying limitations.
tinyMCE, for example, is a WYSIWYG ( What you see is what you get ) text editor that comes bundled with WordPress. WYSIWYG literally means that what you type into the textbox is what you’ll see on your page when you hit submit. All the formatting is done with a press of the button rather than manually typing in the code.
This saves time, but for me the most useful part of it is that it links with the WPG2 plugin, a plugin that lets you interface with your Gallery2 gallery from within a blog post. So easy thumbnails and links to specific galleries and all that.
Unfortunately, the system currently has no command to tell it to switch off its automatic formatting, so if you try to enter some custom code of your own, it breaks it up however it feels, puts spaces where it wants, and generally fucks it up.
I like putting in my own code.
So now, if I want to have thumbnails and my own code ( say, the code at the bottom of these posts with all the numbers ) I have to first switch the tinyMCE editor on, add the thumbnails, save the post as a draft, switch the tinyMCE editor off, insert the PHP code, publish the post.
Still, faster than manually typing in;

I just wanna whine about something ‘coz I have a bit of a cold…

Yay!
Mythbusters is back on from tonight ( 13/02/2006 ) on SBS starting at 7:30pm and ending at 8:30pm. According to Ebroadcast the episode is the ‘return’ of the show, rather than being a repeat. The storyline is definately familiar, but it could be that they’ve decided to make re-test shows the first episode of each new season? In any case, it’s nice to have something other than the Winter Olympics ( soon to be C’wealth Games ) during prime-time.

Interesting weather we had today, Josh and I were at the gym when we noticed a dramatic drop in the light outside, then the hail started.
I’d say it only lasted 10 minutes, but left a ton of ice on the ground. I think our court was the centre of the hailstorm, the amount increased the closer we got to my place.

So that was exciting!

So I updated to WordPress 2, very painless experience, very quick.
Very broke my commenting system!
Not Happy!

Got so damn crotchety yesterday!
Some of it was that work sucked. I had three jobs;
First Job was DOA ( Dead on Arrival ) so there was nothing I could do but wait till 10am when HP opens it’s phone system then call and arrange a repair.
Second Job was a revisit, I must have been out to this family’s house 8 times so far. ADSL not working properly. After two hours, still coudn’t get it working 100%.
Third Job was a normal setup and install, only halfway through the install it became obvious that the system had been previously setup for “Graham” & “Gayle”. This new system. So the customer took it back to the store and i’m going back tomorrow arvo to set it up again. At least it was very local.
But I am suffering a little.. There’s far less sugar in my system than there has been for a very long time, and there’s been far far less World of Warcraft.
I’ve downloaded some amusing WoW Movies in the last few days. At the top of my list is this video which shows a 34-man raid on the dragon Onyxia. Nothing special, but they’re all druids!!
I’ve also had a play around with the WOW Model Viewer, to see how different sets and things would look. Which lead me to finding this which I think any WOW Druid would agree… fucking rocks! ( p.s. A restoration druid is not a druid, they’re a priest with a leather fetish, lern2play! )
If I stopped looking at these items i’m sure the pains would dissapear… HURRY UP 1.10! HURRY UP DESTRO, OPEN THE AQ GATES!

My World of Warcraft subscription just expired. At the moment i’m not planning on re-subscribing for a month, or till 1.10 is released, probably whichever comes first.
It’s quite a liberating experience. I think the next step is to uninstall, so there’s no temptation at all.
