Alright, I always hear how you guys visit every day just to see if I’ve made another post. This time I’m testing you…
It’s 1:10am, it will be about 22hrs before I see Serenity. I want to know if I’m going to be a happy person or a not happy person when I come out of the cinema.
Adam, Josh, Kim, Simon and Charlie.. I think you’ve all seen it now. I want at least three opinions before close of business tomorrow ( today ).
That is all…

I mentioned to a few people that some photos of mine were going to be shown in an exhibition at the Melbourne Zoo. The idea was that a set percentage of the proceeds from each sale would go to the FOTZ ( friend’s of the zoo ) and would be used in upgrading the 30yr old Orang-utan exhibit at the zoo.
I entered two pieces; 16″x20″ prints of An Orang-utan and a Snow Leopard. The exhibition opened last wednesday night and closed Sunday afternoon.
As of 2pm Sunday afternoon, despite following the pricing guidlines set by the FOTZ staff, neither of my pieces had sold, nor had the majority of pieces in the exhibit.
By 4pm sunday, the Orang-utan had been sold. The pricing structure was such that even though only one of pieces sold, I still managed to recoup all my costs and the zoo got some money for their exhibit.
So there you go, my first sale of a photo! Yay!

This should be my last post about Temple of Elemental Evil for a while. I’m not promising anything, but my copy has expired, the game isn’t due to be released here for a month and the patch will not likely be seen till around then, so nothing earth-shattering should appear on the ToEE horizon for a while.
The one last piece of ToEE news, is that there was a transcript of a chat with the folks of Troika Games, who are/were the developers of the game. A lot of interesting comments are made by the Troika staff. They readily admit that there are bugs in the game, but go on to inform us that they were aware of the bugs when the game went gold, but were unable to do anything about them as Atari basically stopped paying them.
Part of me is suspicious of this, as it does sound a lot like the developers are just passing the blame. On the other hand, this does mesh with how the game runs, how Troika have been acting throughout the last few months and certainly fits the profile of Atari.
Who knows… All I know for sure is that I’m not buying the game till we see a reaction from Atari.

Anyone going to the FOTZ exhibition at the Melbourne Zoo this week ( 21st ->24th of September ) will be handed a catalogue that lists all the pieces up for sale and gives a brief bio of each artist.
Unfortunately my bio has a slight typo in it, and lists my address as http://gallery.platinumwearer.net/ instead of http://gallery.platinumweaver.net
So I’ve hurriedly registered platinumwearer.net and am redirecting users straight here, but it will take a few days for the DNS entry to properly propagate and the redirect from gallery to gallery to become universal.

I’m slack, you know it, I know it, the interweb now knows it.
Is chronic World of Warcraftivity a good enough excuse?
Need heavy hide so I can make many of these so I can reach this.
