Home again after my three week trip up to Brisbane and back again, with brief stop-offs in Sydney.
I took my camera up there with me and took over 680 shots of various landscapes, flora and fauna. I’m still sorting all the shots out, finally having access to a decent quality CRT upon which to view the shots, but here’s an example until I get everything sorted, uploaded and labelled.

A stitiched panorama taken in the Blue Mountains outside of Sydney, showing one of the Three Sisters.
The original panorama is a 8540×1585 tiff, about 80MB in size.

I really was going to keep this up to date while I was away. I was going to log on every day and post amusing stories and facts about my trip. Except that until today I haven’t been able to hook up my laptop to the internet, and doing so has been quite low on my list of priorities.
A brief rundown…
On Sunday the 27th at 6:45am we left from Melbourne heading towards Sydney, I was driving with Adam & Josh noisy but welcome passengers. We worked out that our total travelling time by car to sydney was going to be more than sum of our collective sleep the night before.. not such a good start.
We made good time though, stopping for Breakfast at the McDonalds outside Glenrowan ( Yum! ) then onwards towards the border. We ended up pulling into the North Sydney suburb we were staying in at around 5:45pm the same day.
Screw this, I’m tired and I’m rapidly developing some sort of Germ Warfare agent in my sinuses.. more later..
